Dr. Rahul Katyal, passed his physiotherapy degree from Kurukshetra University. Thereafter he achieved clinical experience in Acupuncture and M.D. in Alternative Medicine. Dr. Katyal started practice in Max Super Speciality Hospital Saket, New Delhi.

He is a recipient of National Award
· Meritorious Invention Award by Govt. of India from National Research Development co-operation in 2008.
· He got budding innovator award for year 2008 for developing chasimatic chair.
“Karishmai Kursi” and curing many patients suffering from neurological diseases. This is the first time in India when “Meritonicy Invention Award“given in the field of Physiotherapy.
· At Sixth International Invention Exposition of Suzhou, China he received special award by President of Malaysian Invention & Design Society.

He won India Innovation Pioneers challenge 2009 under champions of champions category by Intel, Ministry of Science & technology & INDO-US form.He is a recipient of “Significant Achievement Award” by Indian Association of Physiotherapists for two consecutive years in 2009 and 2010. This is the first time by any Indian Physiotherapist.This award was for outstanding work in the field of physiotherapy.

He was conferred the “Best Scientific Paper” at International conference of Manual Interconnect 2006, held at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi.For Role of Manual therapy in reducing pain in Ostean thritis patients.

He got 1st prize in Model Display competition at INTERCOMAT-2005. He received 2nd prize for best poster presentation at International Conference on orthopedics & sports physiotherapy at St. Joseph Academy (U.K).

He was awarded 1st Prize at comprehensive rehabilitation of spinal cord injury patients held at Indian Spinal Institute, New Delhi. He was awarded 1st Prize in Model presentation and 2nd Prize in quiz competition at International conference of physiotherapy and sports science at Punjab University, Patiala.

Dr. Katyal is an Innovator of “Charismatic Chair” and Future Icon for treating patients of Cereberal palsy and spinal cord Injury, which are patented by National Research Development cooperation, New Delhi.Dr. Katyal, Bestowed with honor of “Falicitation Award at Max Super-Speciality Hospital Saket, New Delhi by President of Max Dr Pervez Ahmad.

Dr. Rahul Katyal added another feature to his copy treating finance Minister Mr. George Fernandiz at max. He is also treated various sports personalities in Boxing wrestling and atheleties in Bhiwani. Viz Inderjeet Singh(Six time gold Olympics Winner).
He has special interest for sports thereby attended workshops like current concepts in sports physiotherapy.
